The works shown here are images that I have created over the years, selected from various bodies of work depicting themes living in my consciousness at that time. They reflect my process of learning and development, and my response to the context and happenings in my personal life and within the world about me. I have placed the images loosely within the time line that they were created. They are not necessarily grouped within individual bodies as the bodies of work contain more images than what is able to be displayed here or I was able to access. The style in which they are painted has evolved and changed as styles do – continuing to weave and blend in an integrative fashion as I in myself seek to integrate my sensitivities, perceptions and thinking. Themes surface and re-emerge, symbols often becoming personal icons that continue to have meaning and effect for me as the years pass. Painting for me is an ongoing process of exploration and learning, of contemplation - and review.
